Better late than never. It’s been a busy couple of weeks, but I’m hoping to get back on track with this today. First the new releases from two weeks ago, in the order they were played:

(Artist / Song Title / Album / Label)

1) Bob Leto Trio / Cheescake / Cheesecake / CAP
2) The Willie Williams Trio / Caravan / Comet Ride / MHP
3) Phil Woods And Carl Saunders / Goofin’ At The Coffee House / P.W. & C.S. Play Henry Mancini / Jazzed Media
4) The Laverne Christie Trio / Be My Love / East Of The Sun, West Of The Moon / Quiescent
5) Ron Blake / Teddy / Shayari / Mack Avenue
6) Jof Lee, Mel Brown, Tim Gilson / Light And Lovely / Live At Salty’s / Saphu
7) David Bennett Cohen / WHen The Saints Go Marching In / Cookin’ With Cohen / Core Records
8) David Brandom / Blues On The Corner / No Way Out / Blujazz
9) Michel Petrucciani / Take The “A” Train / Trio Live In Stuttgart / Dreyfus Jazz (Recorded live on 2-8-1998)

There are 9 instead of 12 because I used some “new release time” to play songs from vinyl LP’s. As I mentioned on the the air, I’m sure you remember LP’s: they look like CD’s only they’re larger and sound better!

The LP’s were:

1) Harold Land / Groove Yard / Harold In The Land Of Jazz / Contemporary
2) The Harold Land – Blue Mitchell Quintet / Blue Silver / Mapenzi / Concord
3) The Gene Harris Trio Plus One / Things Ain’t What They Used To Be / The Gene Harris Trio Plus One / Concord
4) Branford Marsalis / Royal Garden Blues / Royal Garden Blues / Columbia
