This week we shine the spotlight on JFASN #4, originally published here on September 4, 2011.
The subject was Gerry Mulligan and his two separately-released albums recorded live over the course of four nights at Pleyel in June of 1954. The albums are called, appropriately enough, “Pleyel Concert” disks 1 and 2.
The music is superb and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it! 🙂
