You realize of course that those are probably the most important five words in all of human history. Everything that ever has happened or ever will happen revolves around those five words.
While predicting the future of humanity, or even just one human, is dicey at best, predicting the future of this blog is far easier. That assumes of course that I am going to have a long and productive life, free to write what I want when I want.
After that rather pretentious beginning, let’s get down to brass tacks, okay?
By the end of this week, June 15, I will have removed any remaining copies of the “Index To Reviews Posted Here.” It has occurred to me that I never did finish updating the links on that list, so the links for reviews written prior to when the blog moved to WordPress mostly still point to the original BlogSpot versions. Many of those posts no longer exist on the BlogSpot server.
[NOTE: Originally the deadline in the paragraph above said June 8. That was a typo, obviously, since June 8 had already passed before I wrote this entry. June 15 is the date I meant to write. My apologies for any confusion that may have caused. ae]
By the end of this month, June 30, I will have updated all the links and the new, accurate and up-to-date “Index” will be given a permanent location on this blog’s “About” page. I will do my best to update the Index after every new review is published.
By the end of July, I will have taken down all the articles on the BlogSpot version of this blog. I will leave placeholders pointing to the WordPress site.
After the de facto if not official end of Summer, and beginning on September 6, 2014, I will resume posting reviews here weekly instead of every other week. I’m not going to say that I’ll never take an occasional Saturday off, but for the most part there will be a new review posted at 7:00 PM Pacific Time each and every Saturday evening. Or as close to 7 as I can. 😉
Thanks for reading this.

If you represent a jazz artist with an album you feel would “fit in” here, whether it’s a brand new release or what I call “pre-existing jazz,” please send me an email. I will provide you with an address you can submit a review copy.
Please note that acceptance by me of a copy of your album for consideration is no guarantee that it will be reviewed here.
Thank you!
