The year 2014 has been a roller coaster ride of sorts. Most years are, with good times and bad popping up here and there.
So the good news is, I have spent the last couple of hours preparing a schedule of reviews for 2015. Right now the schedule is full through March.
More good news in that as I created the spreadsheet to track the schedule, I noticed that review number 150 will be published just a few days before my birthday.
The only bad news is, this is the final weekend of the month, so there will be no new review tonight.
I will offer you the link to one of my favorite albums of all time, and the one that I borrowed the closing theme for Saturday Night Jazz From. That would of course be Lionel Hampton and His Band on the album “Live” (of “Live At The Muzeval” depending on which release you have).
It’s a superb album from 1978, and if you get your hands on a copy, you won’t regret the price.
Thanks for taking the time to read this every week. It means a lot to me. And please accept my sincerest, best wishes that 2015 bring peace, happiness, love, and all the great jazz and blues you can handle to your home and loved ones. 🙂
