Sorry to say I’m going to have to take a pass on this week. To make up for it, I will tack an extra review on at the end of the month on what would normally be my “down” weekend.
Thanks for your interest.
Wood Village, Oregon
PS: Here is a blast from the past for long-time KMHD listeners. If there still ARE any long-time KMHD listeners. From ten years ago, here are former “Blues Palace” host Tom Addis (wearing a hat and sunglasses, and waving in the background, to the left of center) and then KMHD station manager Doug Sweet (right) at the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival on July 15, 2005. (Click the photo to see a larger version.)
Of course that means it’s almost time for THIS year’s extravaganza at Cathedral Park. 2015 marks the 35th year of this, the oldest continuous free jazz festival west of the Mississippi River. What’s that old saying? Oh yeah, be there or be square! 🙂
Click here for details. (And wait until you see the great new poster they have this year!)
